Meadow ... sweet

Busy day, the good thing is it cuts me down on the smoking.

Hot footing it across town, late for a meeting the client called me to tell me he was going to be about another half an hour. So i popped into the festival pavilion which is part of the Manchester Jazz Festival and, sat on the floor on my case, I enjoyed some fantastic free live jazz from Phil Meadows.

I love a lot of jazz anyway (except the freeform, dropping instruments down a lift shaft stuff) and these guys were superb. I had some shots of him playing the sax but loved his expression of just being lost in the other musicians playing.

I love occasions like this that are accidental rather than planned.
