It wasn’t a joke

So I spent hours trying to help the Comms team. Explain how lighting will enhance their event, but also showed them how best to use projection. Spent three hours of my evening in the lighting box making sure their event looked good (even though it didn’t as they didn’t listen to me!), I wasn’t given a break or a drink or any of the buffet everyone below me was chomping on.
Then almost 5 weeks after the event a card and gift bag are dumped on my desk containing a thank you for all my hard work. The gift - dog chews?!? Get it right people.
