Union Canal

Out on the tandem again today with first born son. We cycled about 18 miles Edinburgh to Ratho and back again, alongside the Union Canal, and it was just such a lovely day. Only had one run-in en-route with a big fat momma with pram who wouldn't (maybe couldn't) move aside to let us past. However, acknowledging our gentle bell-ringing wasn't going to result in any stepping aside, we resorted to some West Coast parlance to persuade her to shift..
