Fuchsia
In Dutch called "Belleboom" is a genus of one hundred to one hundred and ten species from the evening primrose family (Onagraceae). Most species are shrubs.

Most species are native to South America, but some species are found in northern Central America to Mexico. Also in New Zealand and Tahiti are some types naturally.
The flowers have a very decorative bell shape. Many species bloom during long summer and fall. Tropical species bloom throughout the year. The flowers consist of four long, slender petals and four sepals shorter and wider. In many species, the bright red petals and sepals purple (colors that attract hummingbirds in South America pollination care). The colors vary over a wide range from white to dark red, purple, blue, yellow and orange. The fruit is 0.5-2.5 cm wide, dark red, edible berry that contains many small seeds.
