Mountain goats

We had a lovely walk today beyond the remote village of Urbanya. Access was up a long and winding mountain road. We had some rather delicate encounters with oncoming vehicles as sometimes the car had to be manoeuvred quite close to the edge of the single track road. We had the mountain to ourselves except for the goats and only met one person all day on our final descent back into the village. The weather was warm but not too hot and the views were stunning. There were wildflowers and butterflies everywhere, This year the broom seems to be prolific. In all we covered around 10 kilometres with 600 metres of ascent.
