A sad looking, deserted house in Guines ....

So starts my doorway recording/sharing ... You never know, this may turn into an irregularly returned to subject.

It is market day in Guines ... veritably brimming with folk compared to our last foray there, with much catching up happening between shoppers.

I love markets but today there wasn't much to tempt me to spend ... except perhaps the rotisserie chicken stall. I really wanted to capture the feel of small village market day with the woman selling her handful of home grown beetroot, a few mis-shaped squashes and a small mound of haricots verts out of her Citroen 2 cv van ... but I lost the nerve to snap her. What a wuss...
