Calm

It’s a long time since we’ve walked along the quay at Conwy - a location that used to feature often in my first year of blipping. Today it’s damp and misty - sadly typical of half-term weather - and rainwear clad families try to make the best of it queuing outside ‘The Smallest House’ or standing in line for fish and chips.

Despite - or maybe because of - the weather conditions, there’s sometimes almost magical about the water in the estuary.  It’s very calm, and as the tide rushes out between the pillars of the Conwy bridges, areas of black stillness stand amongst the swirling eddies.

But for this, time is taken up preparing a meal for our neighbours - finally repaying them for entertaining us when we were in the midst of decorating, and the frustration of several failed attempts to pay for our Namibian holiday. Thankfully, both are successful!

Apologies for my absence from your journals, and thank you for your kind response to yesterday’s Meditation. I’m hoping I’ll catch up very soon!
