Reis Plaji
A cloudy start to the day, but it wasn't long before the skies cleared, and a beautiful sunny day came. A fine breeze now and again, flat calm tonight.
Up early, still not feeling well but slightly better than yesterday. I'll probably be spreading this Turkish cold around the hotel next, woops. I have tried to keep myself to myself, with a quiet day relaxing. I won at the bingo last night, tonight will be a quiet one in my hotel room.
With the cloudy morning, I decided that was a good time to get out for a walk and some exercise, before the temperatures got up. With no promenade, it was a hike over the rough beach sands. Our beach is quite quiet, but some parts were really busy. I made it just over a mile to the end of the beach, named Reis Plaji, which Google translates as Beach Head, makes sense. There was a staircase down to the last part of the beach, but I wasn't keen with the waves rolling in. Note some folk in those caves. As I headed east, I'll maybe try the west side another day. Taken at Reis Plaji, Konakli, Alanya, Turkey.
