Wednesday: Flowers in the Wind

Woke up to rain this morning, temperature around 15°C. The rain stopped before 9am when MrD set off on a day of deliveries.

Phoned the older 2 of our children and swapped messages with The Sailor and Jo.

Wind picked up after lunch and I was determined to start off some seeds:
Broad Bean “Aquadulce Claudia” and “Sutton Dwarf” 
Runner Bean “Enorma” and “Scarlet Emperor”

Took photos of the colourful flowers around my garden for today’s Blip. From top left to bottom right:

Anthemis punctata, wild buttercup, orange Calendula,
Red Valerian, blue Iris, white Astrantia,
Blue Forget-me-not, pink Astrantia and a pink rose from the bud covered rose bush
