Sun ....
... dew for Wide Wed, thanks Bob as always.
There was a little sun this morning and it was warmish so I have been mostly strimming as the garden has just erupted after all the rain. We also managed a swim which was rather nice. I went up onto the bog to inspect the sundews - loads of them, little sticky arms out and expectant. They are carnivorous and the sticky excretion attracts little insects who then get stuck and the leaf rolls over and digest them! By the way, a useful tip - if you ever seen bog this colour (or bright green) do not tread on it! Not only will the sundews get you but you might be seriously sucked in.
No time to blip yesterday - a lot going on as June is a big well month! I've two talks to prepare, one serious one more relaxed, and two well trips to lead - the first on Saturday , so a lot of preparation required. The garden also needs a lot of taming - I could hardly get into the polytunnel yesterday either.
We went to a very good talk on bio-diversity last night - actually two talks, one by former blipper TravellersJoy who has now become, amongst other things, a butterfly expert, and she gave a wonderful talk showing her land through the seasons.
