Swan talk

Strong yoga this morning and a coffee catch up in Hugs and Mugs near Langside Halls with V this afternoon. In between times I went to Maxwell Park to catch up with swans. Unfortunately I was told that the female is still sitting on the nest of 3 eggs nine days after the sole cygnet hatched. Meaning only one parent is looking out for the cygnet who occasionally makes an appearance. Moreover this may make the inexperienced breeding pair move on elsewhere later in the year.
The mallard ducklings are growing up fast, extra.
