Fallen flowers

The poppy plant was blown over in the rain and high winds the other day, but it didn’t stop it flowering.

As Mo and I were having lunch, the bright sunshine was catching the petals. So of course, when I went to take a photo the afternoon turned dark and overcast.

It seems this  blip’s turned into a bit of a weather report.
