Poppy opener

I planted some poppies last year, they didn't come to much perhaps just concentrating on setlling in.  This year there are lots of buds though they seem to be taking their time in comnig to flower.  Visiting this evening I found this wee guy fed up waiting and looking as if it's trying to proze the poppy open.  I'll visit again tomorrow and find out whether it was successful.  Maybe there are creatures whose job it is to open up flowers.
