Wednesday: Mildreds

I accompanied K up to the Royal Marsden for her next round of chemotherapy. This is round three, five more to go.  

I’d arranged to meet WendsWanders for lunch so, after seeing K settled, I headed up to Soho for lunch at ‘Mildreds’.  It’s years since I’ve been but it was still excellent.  If you’re looking for a good vegetarian restaurant in town I can heartily recommend it.

It was lovely to see WW - we had a good catch-up.  We did discuss whether we would end up doing a blip snap but as she has blipped a haberdashery that was going to be highly unlikely, given my unfamiliarity with said establishments.

After we said our teary goodbyes the plan was for me to head back to the Royal Marsden to meet up with K to head home together.  As I was on my way it became apparent that she was going to be a lot longer than originally planned so we agreed that I would head home. As it happened, she didn’t get home until after 8pm.
