Sir Robert Peel Memorial

A nice relaxed day for a change

Met up with long time friend L for a trip into Bury. My new specs & sunglasses were ready for collection……. we had a mooch around. I saw a picture that I liked, for my bedroom. Planned to collect it on the way back to the car park.

We treated ourselves to a late brunch in the recently opened Central Cafe in the town centre. Lovely homemade tomato soup with a cheese toastie, coffee for me & earl grey for L.!

Today’s blip was my view from our table……. with Sir Robert Peel surveying all from on high ;-)

Collected my new picture from The Range on our way back, dropped L back outside hers, back to mine…….I unloaded & opened the box to check my purchase, only to find there were 2 pictures in the box!! We had commented that it felt heavy when we were carrying it, but thought it was just well packaged! Another job in the morning now…. to return the one i haven’t paid for!

Spent the rest of the evening pottering & faffing as you do. A light prawn salad for dinner about 8.30pm then tv & chill :-)
