Ji came round this morning to give me some banana flapjack’s she had made from some of the foodbank bananas. We then headed off to Sherwood. She wanted to buy some plants so I had suggested a nursery neither of us had bern to, so I have a look at the house I’d seen on Rightmove yesterday. This is the entrance to it. Need to decide whether or not to book a viewing.
We drove towards the nursery but there was a huge traffic queue which wasn’t moving so we abandoned that plan and stopped in Mapperley for coffee and to buy bread from the new artisan baker. After that we went down to a different nursery and of course purchases were made (both of us).
Dropped Ji back at her house, had something to eat and walked up to the Avenue for my hair appointment . They were busy so just had time to have s cup of tea and a quick tidy- up before going to Bridge. Va, my usual partner, is on holiday and so I played with R. She hadn't been before but I had met het once at a drive in Ruddington. We came first! She is very keen for us to play again. I had already said that I would play with Mi for the next two Wednesdays and then Va is back, but I may go to the occasional Tuesday afternoon session with R- Va is busy then.
