The Big Kid

Another film which we took in late morning – Hallow Road, a thriller thing starring Rosamund Pike and Matthew Rhys. Mercifully short at one hour twenty minutes is all I can say. Gawd, what an intensely irritating pair of people.
Then I had duties – small boy’s normal Tuesday childminder is away on holiday and they could only get a half day at nursery so I picked up the lad and we had big fun! Off up town in the tram and then back to Ocean Terminal to see the Hestmanden currently in Leith docks and on a four week tour. It’s a Norwegian steamer (yes, with fully operational steam engines), and serves as Norsk krigsseilermuseum (the Norwegian War Sailor Museum). And what a great place it is – the crew are all volunteers and sooo friendly. Or maybe that was due to the presence of small boy. And they had a merch stall! I got the t-shirt. Happy days!
