Looking Like Summer

We had chicken and chips at the chiringuito to say farewell to Derek, who returns to the Emerald Isle in a day or two.

It was very warm to start with and the beach resembled a summer's evening, but it soon got quite chilly, a reminder that we are not quite there yet.

Won't be long though.

In other news, I have ordered new toldo blinds for inside the glass curtains to keep some of the heat out. They can also be angled outwards when the curtains are open. Should be here in a week or so.
