State of the art

A delightful day was spent at our local new Veterinary Orthopaedic referral and General vet clinic. It was primarily a CPD session which has helped my annual requirement but so good to listen to lectures by these experts.

The bonus before lunch was a tour of the premises given by one of the delightful young veterinary nurses who started her training at our practice and it was great to see how she is enjoying her work at this amazing place.
In fact the owner of this independent practice was a student with me many years ago - he reminded me we still anaesthetised cats with ether at that time ! 

The blip shows the X-ray facilities which are far more modern than our local hospital where I recently had my arthritic hands and wrists radiographed and there is no way they even have a CT scanner as in the extra. !
