Picking Battles

Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Mini Princesses,

It’s been one of those days where it’s mainly bright and sunny but then the sky goes completely black and there’s a downpour.

Twice today I’ve had washing outside and managed to get it in about 3 seconds before it started wazzing down.

I explained to The Prince that I feel disproportionately smug when that happens, like I’ve somehow beaten nature. With dry socks*!
