Auntie Margaret’s Birthday

Today is my late Auntie Margaret’s heavenly birthday, she passed away in 1968 of an asthma attack on the 25th of May, just days short of her birthday.

I’m very grateful that I have this black and white photograph of her, especially as I never got to meet her and grateful for the support I get to manage my own chronic asthma. Sadly, treatments for asthma were not as advanced in the 1960s.

This week has been an emotional one with a lot of anniversaries and other significant dates. A time for reflection. I feel the presence of my many guardian angels every day, many have passed away too soon.

Feeling slightly more positive about the future and making some progress with my personal goals, dreams and ambitions.

A damp day here but got some fresh air despite the fibro pain, fatigue, knee and scattered showers.

I haven’t been Blipping daily as I had hoped but will do as and when my health and time allow because I do prefer to Blip on a daily basis.

A productive day. This evening, I plan to get back into my Duolingo Ukrainian and Welsh which I haven’t had the energy for the last three or four days and catch up with Blip journals.

I need to crack on with reading the book I have on the go too.

Thanks for all your stars, hearts and comments :)
