End of an Era
So long as the current US administration endures, there are doubts that Covid boosters will be available or covered by health insurance policies. There may be exceptions for old people. Or not. Depending on what the pseudo-scientists tell RFK and his gang of anti-intellectuals who believe science is a waste of money better spent on yachts for billionaires.
The vaccines were life-saving for many. They came too late for many. Many who are poor and live in countries that have been exploited by colonization have still not had access to them. So given my privilege, I had what may have been my last one this morning. I am grateful for it. I wish everyone had this privilege.

I have a cheery gift for everyone: a TED talk by a fierce young woman who says the world is on fire so we should all get up and make something. A blip fits the bill, but some of us have other ways of making as well. I’m continuing work on my #OldWomenProject, and I have two Pinterest boards that inspire me.
