Park Life

We'd made no plans for today as the weather forecast wasn't good, however we headed to Dudmaston with coffee & cake (lemon drizzle - my favourite) thinking we might dodge the showers.
First stop in Bridgo was the hot pork ladies, who were sincerely sorry to hear no scraps were wanted today for poor Pebbie...

We intended to visit the gardens - with no dogs allowed, we'd never ventured in - but seeing a few beefy clouds around we opted to view inside the house first - again our first time.
After a quiet potter round - we both like looking, but not reading all the info - we headed back outside, into (very windy) beautiful sunshine and an almost deserted garden.
As impromptu afternoons go, we both thoroughly enjoyed our visit and could have happily mooched from area to area all day (lots of benches)...oh and my mobility after yesterday? Dare I say, today it's quite good, but I still couldn't run for the bus ;)
