Slayed

I've had a bit of a crazee day, with no time for a blip. I thought I'd have a look through my record collection, and came across this. It's a classic cover, so I thought I'd blip it. 

It actually isn't my lp, but was bought by my wife when it came out. Released in late 1972, it got to number one, and there were two great singles released from it, Mama Weer All Crazee Now, which got to number one, and Gudbuy T' Jane, which got to number two. 

The following year, Slade would be one of the biggest bands in the country, and would have the 1973 Christmas number one, with you know what.
