A drought is declared

The NW of England is the first to be officially declared to be in drought today. Other regions will inevitably follow. On the same day plans were announced for the construction of two new reservoirs! They are going to take a few years before their water will flow through the taps! Our three water butts have been running on empty for weeks now. This watering can emptied this one this evening.
