Bluster

It was so windy today that the Inverleith mute swans and their one cygnet left the safety of the water and stood guard on their young life.

On another note, after ten years I am now 102nd on the waiting list for an Inverleith allotment. The previous Allotment Officer told me it would be worth waiting for but he’s since retired after 40 years of service and I’m left thinking that you never know how much waiting is left to be done before the pearly gates beckon rather than those of the hallowed ground of Inverleith.
