Through the oblong window..

… well, kitchen door to be correct.
Everything is very wet to walk through!
Ascension Day, though in the country it’s not celebrated in a public way,unless you enter a Catholic church, or maybe Cof E.
I removed having a day off school when I was growing up as it was a feast day, a Holy Day of Obligation.

Most of the day was spent either in a car, bus or in a train.. and trying to sort my phone out!!!
But.. a chance pop into a second hand book shop and I picked up The Conclave by Robert Harris for £1.50.. and it was a brand new copy!
I’ve wanted to read it before seeing the film.
Maybe I’m a bit late to the party, but hey ho!
