Spinning Ornament

A very windy day. I started to walk to the swimming pool only to stop with the realisation that I wasn't going to do myself any favours with my Achilles hurting as much as it did. Instead I drove and this evening it does seem to have eased a bit. I have an appointment with the physiotherapy service on Tuesday, though I am less than confident it will an easy resolution.

I spent much of the day sorting out the study. I have accumulated many books over the years, along with other items that I always justify with the statement 'that'll come in useful one day'. As I hadn't opened these books in perhaps 5-10 years, I was fairly confident I wouldn't miss them, and I have even found a good home with another member of the photographic club for some of the pro-lighting series.

I hadn't finished by the end of the day, but there is always tomorrow.

I noticed how this ornament, hanging from the tree, was spinning in the wind so took a slow shutter speed image of it as an emergency blip.
