10 Quid
The boss had some calls to do in Agassiz, a small country town just 24km from us here in Chilliwack. Seeing as it was a dark rainy day, I decided to go along for the ride.
Agassiz, was first settled in 1867 or thereabouts by a Swiss fella named Agassiz which doesn't sound at all Swiss to me, but Wiki says "The Agassiz family is a family of Swiss origin, from the small village of Agiez near Lake Neuchatel. The family has included a number of high-profile members, such as the scientists Louis and Alexander Agassiz, as well as the founder of the Longines watch firm, Auguste Agassiz."
We took the opportunity to have lunch at The Broken Whisk* and found the menu * to be very resonable and the interior decor to be quirky with lots of interesting tidbits, almost like a heritage museum.
Just 10 Quid Including tax!
It was such a plateful I wasn't sure I could manage it, but manage it I did.
Not only was it very reasonably priced, the chicken quesadilla was very good, we'll go there again I'm certain.
Ah well...
