The History Lesson

While Pat recovers from her surgery yesterday. I am studying an information sign taken in St.Andrews. These signs are always interesting.

As is this one about Gavin Douglas. Quite an accomplished Scotsman.

It is some fifty years or so since I visited Tantallon Castle. Of course it is in a ruinous state. The one thing that has stayed with me since then it is a feeling of Evil that resided in that ruin.

I am very sensitive to different atmosphere in places, but I have never come across anything like the atmosphere of Tantallon Castle.

Needless to say, I have never returned.
