DAY 11

Really hard to select photos from today as we had an amazing tour......except the early start of 6:00am...aaarrrggghhh....but so necessary to get through the horrendous Bangkok traffic! We then drove for 2 hours to catch a boat...a long tailed speed boat (which was a good photo too)...for a trip up the River Kwai....
#....to the bridge
#.....although it isn't the original bridge lots of the old bridge have been used to build this one and there were bullet holes along it....it was quite moving to walk across it...we then went to the museum and the cemetery (another good photo)...again a very moving time especially as the dead had to be buried standing up due to space!
# after a lunch by the river we then went on a very old train for a rickety noisy hour long journey going over some of the original track. The views were amazing (more great shots)
# one of the highlights was the man selling doughnuts you made some profit from us....most times he passed by!!

We got back at 7:00pm....a very long day so a film and room service was a must!
