Hot Chilli!!

I love the heat and today served up an absolute scorcher. It was chilly when I headed out first thing but that didn't last long at all. My garmin recorded a top temperature of 42 degrees! 

It's been another day of pinch me how are these roads real!! My first summit of the day came after 20 miles of climbing to reach the tip of Circo de Troumouse. The views and the bowl of mountains within which it sits is something else. 

I have also thrown in Barrage et Lac des Gloriettes which is an incredible dam. The mind boggles as to how it was constructed. The lake was just so blue too! From there I was able to ride to Cirque d'Estaube before descending. 

I threw in a spin out to Lourdes, round the city centre loop, and back before returning to my little flat. 

All salt now removed from my body in the shower ha ha!!
