Pots and pans ...

... and saving our sprats.
I had to nip into Bantry today with some odd things on my shopping list - all achieved:
take library books back (I'm romping through Elizabeth Strout)
manuka honey lozenges
Himalayan salts for the bath
olives
12 specimen phials (not for pee but holy water!)
a small net (I ended up in a rather weird pet shop and have purchased a poop scoop I think - to be used taking scummy bits of said holy water)

All organised for tomorrow's well day. The weather looks good after 11am and I've added an extra well!

Ah yes, and apart from the usual interesting things going on in the market there was a Save Our Sprat march!  Actually I am fully supportive. This was protesting against industrial scale trawling in an Special Area of Conservation. There is something obscene in seeing  massive trawlers come down the bay and just scoop everything up, in an already depleted water.
