Broad-bodied Chaser

I've never seen one of these before but it's a type of dragonfly (male) and I also saw the female (yellow) laying eggs in our pond.

Exciting.

Went in to Saffron Walden this morning to meet some of my Art group and to pick up my new glasses.  I've never had varifocal lenses before and they are making me feel incredibly dizzy and sick!
