An Artichoke in the Farmhouse garden.

A day at Stowe gardening. We have been tidying the reception area, mowing, weeding and sorting out the herbaceous plants. After some rain this week it was a big task for the four volunteers.

The artichoke is just a point of interest for visitors, someone may want to cook it.
