Following the Flowers

So far the tour through France has been lined with flowers. We've been keeping to minor roads and loving the range of wild flowers in the meadows and un-mown verges. The picture is just for scale, but there's such a wide range of pollinating plants accompanying the crops. Something about the system here is helping the whole ecosystem even though there is undoubtedly an issue with runoff into rivers.
