A mural in Sheffield

I am not sure if a district in a city can be a village but the "village" has had an artist in residence.  Rachel has changed her car since we were last down and wanted to show it off, so she took us on a tour to see the various pieces of art.

I admit I wasn't too excited as much art I don't like/understand.  However I was very pleasantly surprised to find that all the art, at least the one we saw were just the sort of thing I like.  As the name in the bottom corner testifies the artist was Emma Barnsley.

Emma had done paintings not only on walls like this one outside a shop but also on "street furniture" such as th green boxes connected with the fibres laid for the internet etc.  The subjects we saw were all of natural subjects such as owls foxes birds, toadstools  etc.
