Plans and dreams

About 10 years or so ago I visited Maine for a day or two on the way to the Canadian Maritimes…Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick. A long bus trip that was great but time in each area was too short. Too many stops and not enough time. Anyway, the trip did not include a stop at Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park so that trip has always been way up on my bucket list.

As I am not getting any younger I really want to make this trip while I can still hike miles and drive 10 hour days. Preferably in the fall as the leaves would be beautiful colors. So I am gathering information and making a plan for late September. It will probably take two weeks to see what I want to see. Fly or drive? Where to stay? So many decisions for this kind of trip.

And let’s not forget New Hampshire and Vermont while I am in the area.

Travel companions are getting my nagging to commit. If not I have others to ask.


Still working diligently on family photos. Got so much done this week. Will work on it next week so I can finish the prints. I also need to print some of the digital photos to add to the books for my granddaughters late teen years when I switched to digital. Feels like I can keep this momentum going to get this done. No more procrastinating!
