At the top of the tallest tree…there was a heron
I went back to the riverside walk I visited on May 18th Here - but with two extra things: my friend G who forgot to come last time, and my bridge camera which I went on a day course to learn to use. It’s got an impressive zoom, so I was able to catch one of the herons, which are so high up.
I then had a frustrating hour in the city centre trying to track down a gizmo that would allow me to transfer my photos from my camera to my I pad - with a view to putting them here. Eventually, I tracked one down at the Apple shop, and the lovely woman went through the process of how to do it twice with me to make sure I’d got it:-) The staff in there are really excellent in my experience.
The rest of the day spent gardening - mainly weeding and dead heading. It was very warm today - but I guess we’ve nearly reached summer.
In the evening the Orkney girls and I watched Almodovar’s Parallel Mothers, which is currently on BBC iPlayer. And very wonderful it is, too.
