Greater Quaking-grass

The dramatically-named Greater Quaking Grass is a cultivated and naturalised species in Britain. It grows profusely along the edge of an area of semi-waste ground near where we live. It has also seeded itself on an old rockery area at the bottom of our garden. The green colour will gradually change into a golden, silvery colour to create an example of nature's jewellery.
