Damselflies

It's a good day for damselflies - two Small Red Damselflies on the window and two Common Blue Damselflies on the grass.

In the extra, examples of the more usual photos I take in the garden, with a bird disappearing stage left, or peeping out at me, or looking somewhat startled...

There always comes a day in a garden when you stop trying to make things grow and start trying to stop everything going rampart.  Today was the day I started cutting back the plants that would swamp everything else.
