Breakfast Drama...

Occasionally one just gets lucky. I guess that's the best word to describe being in the right place at the right moment and with the right equipment in hand. I was taking a photo of the Red-shouldered hawk on the left side of a  pine branch when another hawk literally dropped in with a brown anole in its beak. I think it was just 'showing off' since it never once offered the first hawk even a bite. Finished eating, the satiated hawk then took flight. m
