Reception area #4

No chance of getting out today so this is a back blip from when I was at the Barbican recently. The lower ground floor of the Arts Centre is almost empty during the day—just a few people spread around reading or on their laptops. The area is actually the lobby to the theatre, and is very busy during evening performances. The low wooden tables are part of the Barbican’s original design and have been in place since the Centre’s completion in 1982. I thought the shot would be a good addition to the Reception Area series.
