mmm.....

Come to Pitlochry she said, it's been the sunniest place in Scotland she said .....  except today it wasn't! 

It was my turn to host book group and LauraMuir, EH and HazelH (along with MrHazelH) made the journey north.

After lunch we headed for a walk through Black Spout Woods, Atholl Palace Grounds and into town so Laura could get her train and EH her bus. We got absolutely soaked.

Back home we got changed - the HazelHs are staying over and an evening of games,  more food and fizz beckons.

I'd selected "As  The Women Lay Dreaming" by Donald S. Murray which explored the aftermath of Iolaire disaster in Lewis. It is a beautifully written and poignant story.
