1193 day of war
Hello, friends!
This week, like the last one, was marked by heavy shelling. In the city, gas infrastructure and businesses are being bombed, and shockwaves are blowing out windows in buildings. We haven’t seen shelling this intense in a long time. I understand that all of this is done to intimidate us, but it seems we’ve already gotten used to it, and it no longer scares us—it mostly just irritates us now.
Once again, it feels like the informational world and the real world are two completely different things. Discussions about negotiations with Russia and their memorandum seem like they should signal the beginning of the end of the war, yet at the same time, Russians are advancing on the frontlines with renewed force, and these massive attacks on cities in the rear are increasing.
But we’re holding on. I’m trying to work and planning to start dyeing tapestries. I think they could be an interesting decor element to hang at home. I’d also like to make myself a nice tablecloth :)
There aren’t many orders right now, but I see this as a good time for experimentation. The rainy, gloomy weather all month, combined with the crushing pressure from the news in the country, is demoralizing—but I’m trying to distract myself with tasks and keep moving forward. I’m also hoping for more warm days.
Whatever happens, I understand there’s no real reason to hope for major changes anytime soon. So I’ll just try to make the most of this summer and hope that everything will be alright.
Thank you all for your support! And special thanks to those who help me through Buy Me a Coffee. It really helps a lot.
