Bomber Command
Lovely weather today and a full wash load done and drying on the line outside .
Late morning we decided to go for a walk to enjoy the lovely weather and get a blip. We walked to the outskirts of Lincoln to the bomber command centre which is a memorial for the RAF . The spire can be seen from the city and is 102 foot high the same width of the famous Avro Lancaster wingspan . We went to see the ceramic poppy display but really like this shot looking across the lovely open green space the poppy display can just be seen on the right I have included an extra of the display but more shots can be seen On Flickr.
Back home for a late lunch and then we have enjoyed an afternoon of Super League rugby . We did have a bit of an eventful afternoon when Julie went to plug the reclining sofa in to the extension and it went bang . We plugged the sofa into a new socket and it still works about 2 hours later i discovered the socket originally plugged into along with another had stopped working which included the freezer thankfully the new fuse box had done its job and the circuit had tripped reset and all ok now thankfully but we are not using the extension
A few beers tonight and a film is planned for later
