Munching….
Yes, yes, I know - another blip from the Butterfly, House but I’m not in again for over a week, and I’ve not done much else today apart from a shift there this morning.
There were 7 volunteers today so we got chance to do a bit of gardening too which was cool.
The wisteria was cut back, the veg beds, corridor and patio were weeded and there was a bit of tidying outside too.
Inside with the butterflies and as I think I’ve already mentioned, there is plenty of evidence of breeding going on and lots of caterpillars munching away on their host plants.
These are Monarch caterpillars feasting on milkweed. I’m glad I have a few milkweed seedlings in my greenhouse as I think we are going to need them later in the season.
Off down to London again tomorrow to visit the MIL, so comments and posts might be lacking until Thursday, but let’s see.
