First of the year

We have a fruit cage that now has only strawberries growing in it  It's position means the plants get a lot of shade but retains a lot of moisture. Currently these plants have lots of white flowers waiting to become strawberries.
There ones were picked of plants that have self seeded in the flower beds. I have left them there because they will be ready made replacements for the official ones when needed  These berries are an unexpected and very tasty bonus
