What to do here then please? I have just (had) moved the pier on the right in order to widen the drive a bit. In doing so we had to take down the fencing that runs between each pier. So, do I replace the fence in the gap you can see here OR remove all the fence bits? You can see that I am growing (very slowly) a beech hedge just inside the garden and it is my plan (hopefully in my lifetime) when the hedge gets a bit bushier, to remove all the wooden fence bits. But.... is now the right time.
