BATTLE OF THE BAGGERS

It's Moto America week at Road America.  All sorts of motorcycle races from Superbikes to Harley-Davidson Baggers.  Rainy yesterday....sunny, but cold today until the afternoon when things warmed a bit.

This was an afternoon race called the "King of the Baggers."  These riders will make a Harley do things you wouldn't think a motorcycle that weighs over 800 pounds (363kg) could do...including wheelies and knee dragging turns.

I'm certain they are not stock models and they have very expensive tires that grip the surface harder than a miser grips his money.  And it takes all that to get them to do what they do.  #33, Kyle Wyman, was the eventual winner on a factory H-D/Dynojet.

Xtra-1:  Tyler O'Hara, doing the wheelie on an Indian cycle.  He took 4th place.

Xtra-2:  This is a custom painted Harley entered in the bike show competition.  I added this one especially for rustycrapp.   Notice the faux rust paint job which will surely appeal to him.
